Be Noble Inc. is proud to administrate the Workplace Preparedness Grant, one of multiple funding opportunities made possible by the funding provided by the Community Foundation of Noble County. Application deadline February 16, 2024.

About the Grant

TheWorkplace Preparedness Grant provides an exclusive opportunity for workers in Noble County to thrive in their chosen occupation. As workers elevate their skills and enhance earning potential, grant funding of up to $1,000 per eligible worker may help them get a leg up by covering the costs of workplace supplies necessary, but not provided by their employer.

Eligibility

TheWorkplace Preparedness Grant is offered exclusively for the purpose of acquiring the tools and/or supplies needed to perform work duties not provided by an employer. This may include steel-toed shoes, industrial maintenance tools, welding helmets, gloves, and other supplies routinely used within the occupation supported by the individual’s certification or degree.

Eligible individuals will be individuals who work or live in Noble County in the occupation for which they:

  • Are actively seeking a workforce certification, OR
  • Have completed a workforce certification program after February 1, 2023, OR
  • Have earned a college degree after February 1, 2023

  3. Attach or enclose supporting documentation of your workforce certification program enrollment, certificate achieved, or degree.
