The former Pennington Seed building at 200 Pennington Way in the Ligonier Industrial Park is under new ownership.

Infinite Resources LLC is moving to the city and looks forward to adding jobs once the operation is up and running. President Michael Forester reportedly said he hopes to have the facilities operating by November 2020.

Infinite Resources will be bagging rock salt at the facility. Bagging product is the company’s specialty, and rock salt is just one commodity they are looking at. Future products might include fertilizer, mulch, potash and similar materials. The company’s new location, close to major markets and the railroad, was cited by Forester as a big draw for choosing Ligonier. So was the number of potential workers in the region, since the company hopes to scale up in coming years.
