County organizations awarded grants

More funding is coming into Noble County to help some local organizations impacted by COVID-19. Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch announced four grant recipients will receive a portion of almost $10 million distributed through the Arts, Cultural and Destination Marketing Organizations grant program. Local recipients include Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, Mid-America Windmill Museum, Noble County Community Fairgounds, and Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce. Nearly $50,000 will be distributed to help these organizations recoup expenses and lost revenues associated with several cancelled programs and events this year.
