What does it take for a rural community to thrive? For more than a decade, Thrive Noble County has been promoting, sharing, and embracing the theory that in order for Noble County to “thrive” there are five “pillars” that must be at the core of everything individuals, organizations, and businesses do. On March 12, 2022, Thrive is bringing that theory to life at the first-ever, countywide expo called “Noblepalooza”. Noblepalooza will bring people from across all of Noble County together to experience and engage with each other, organizations, and businesses, and to witness how they engage with and support these five pillars:
- Entrepreneurial Growth
- Youth Engagement
- Leadership Development
- Community Investment
- Cultural Enhancement
Noblepalooza will present a “mini-community” of exhibitors representing every sector to help illustrate how they each support one or more of the five pillars and help Noble County thrive. The public is invited to attend the free expo to explore, shop, eat, drink, discover, and make connections to help enable them to follow their own passions and be a thriving member of the community.
Noblepalooza will be held at the Community Learning Center in Kendallville from 10 AM to 1 PM and will feature civic organizations, health and wellness providers, governmental agencies and offices, cultural attractions, retailers, and others sharing information, products, services, and volunteer and leadership development opportunities.
Thrive invites the community to come together at Noblepalooza to enjoy a fun, experiential, celebratory event, foremost, because the first step to creating a thriving community is to “show up”! Beyond that, Thrive hopes attendees will come to Noblepalooza:
- To meet and discover people, places, organizations, and opportunities
- To discover and explore what they are passionate about in Noble County
- To meet others who share their passions
- To share what they need from the community in order to thrive
- To learn what they don’t already know about Noble County
- To help preserve and protect the things that matter to them in Noble County
- To eat, drink, socialize, and celebrate all that is Noble County, Indiana
Exhibitor information packets and applications will be made available by early December 2021. Registration for attendees is free, and open now. (Pre-registration will help organizers plan how many attendees to expect and to accommodate everyone.) Both exhibiting and attending Noblepalooza is free. The event is sponsored by Thrive Noble County, with additional sponsorships available.
