Funding Priorities

Priority will be given to projects that provide students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences that strengthen knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Preference will be given to initiatives that build community partnerships, connect learning to real-world applications, and provide students with opportunities to collaborate, problem-solve, and explore career pathways.

Eligibility

Applicants may include:

  • Public or private schools
  • Nonprofit educational organizations
  • Community-based organizations
  • Libraries or museums
  • Teachers, departments, or grade-level teams
  • After-school or summer enrichment programs

Funding Amounts

  • Minimum award: $500
  • Maximum award: $2,500
  • Grant awards are contingent upon available funding.
  • Partial funding may be awarded.

Allowable Expenses

Grant funds may be used for:

  • Instructional materials and supplies
  • Technology equipment and software
  • Robotics, coding, engineering, or makerspace tools
  • Arts integration materials

Non-Allowable Expenses

Grant funds may not be used for:

  • Salaries or stipends not previously approved
  • Food or beverages
  • Travel unrelated to project objectives
  • Capital construction projects
  • Political or religious activities
  • Previously incurred expenses

Compliance and Acknowledgment

Recipients agree to:

  • Use funds solely for approved purposes
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Acknowledge grant support in promotional materials
