STEAM Grant
Funding Priorities
Priority will be given to projects that provide students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences that strengthen knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Preference will be given to initiatives that build community partnerships, connect learning to real-world applications, and provide students with opportunities to collaborate, problem-solve, and explore career pathways.
Eligibility
Applicants may include:
- Public or private schools
- Nonprofit educational organizations
- Community-based organizations
- Libraries or museums
- Teachers, departments, or grade-level teams
- After-school or summer enrichment programs
Funding Amounts
- Minimum award: $500
- Maximum award: $2,500
- Grant awards are contingent upon available funding.
- Partial funding may be awarded.
Allowable Expenses
Grant funds may be used for:
- Instructional materials and supplies
- Technology equipment and software
- Robotics, coding, engineering, or makerspace tools
- Arts integration materials
Non-Allowable Expenses
Grant funds may not be used for:
- Salaries or stipends not previously approved
- Food or beverages
- Travel unrelated to project objectives
- Capital construction projects
- Political or religious activities
- Previously incurred expenses
Compliance and Acknowledgment
Recipients agree to:
- Use funds solely for approved purposes
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Acknowledge grant support in promotional materials
