Trine University, located about 40 miles northeast of Albion, announced plans to add a 28,000 square foot apartment building to house approximately 100 students, with hopes to have the added housing ready for occupancy in time for the fall 2021 semester.

Plans were recently approved by the Angola Plan Commission in neighboring Steuben County. The $5.5 million addition will provide apartment-style living with carpeted rooms, private baths and air conditioning.
