The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) has announced farm ownership and operating loans for underserved and beginning farmers and ranchers.

Loans are designed for those who cannot obtain commercial credit form a bank to help make sure everyone has access to credit. To qualify as a beginning farmer, the individual or entity must meet the eligibility requirements outlined for direct or guaranteed loans and have operated a farm for less than 10 years.
