According to local media reports, Kroger and Meier stores will begin administering COVID-19 vaccines, broadening the scope of available options beyond the local health department’s clinic at the Noble County Public Library.

The retailers will still adhere to the state’s qualifications to determine who is eligible to receive a vaccine (currently ages 65 and over with exceptions for first responders and others in healthcare services). There will be no out-of-pocket cost, but the stores will record insurance information (as does the health department clinic).
